Recently, we were honored when the New York advertising
firm of Deutsch, Inc. challenged us to create a "Gold Bar"
that they could use for a special project. The bar
is roughly 8" x 4" x 2" and weighs in at a hefty 13 lbs.
After the design was agreed upon, a billet of naval brass was
machined on all sides, polished to a mirror finished, and
"Deutsch" was hand etched into the face. The
"Golden Deutsch" as it has come to be known, was delivered six
business days from the first contact with the client, a pretty
remarkable feat, given the work that was involved. This is
the kind of commitment and quality that Iron Mountain Metal Works
clients have come to expect. We were thrilled to work with
such a high-profile group of professionals, and the staff at
Deutsch was kind enough to send us a thank you note that
